The European Association of Travel Writers (EATW) is a growing international network of independent journalists, authors, bloggers, and digital publishers dedicated to preserving authentic, human-centered travel storytelling.
Founded by Elisabeth Jane Bertrand, editor-in-chief of one of the world's leading Italy website Dolcevia.com, EATW was created in response to the growing threat of AI-generated content, automated scraping, and the silent erosion of creative rights online. We unite travel content creators across Europe and beyond who believe that original voices matter—and that our words should never be used without permission or payment.
